
The good news is that the unrealistic standard of beauty which has been driving women like us to diet, binge, purge, paint, nip and tuck is now attainable!
The bad news is that it's because H&M fashions are now advertising their garments using completely virtual bodies and photoshopping on the heads of (mostly) real women. Which you could do at home if you really wanted to. [MORE HERE]
Heartbreaking, as always, because we are so prone to believe what we see with our eyes, and listen to the lies that tell us we're not quite good enough. The fortuitous affordable solution? Stop shopping. Dump your catalogues. Cancel your subscriptions to dangerous women's magazines. You don't HAVE to, of course, but my (informed) hunch is that you will live better, more freely, if you would.
