I'm reading a great book by my friend, Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove, and Shane Claiborne, called: Becoming The Answer To Our Prayers. (click link to purchase it at The Simple Way. When you get it from Simple Way, more proceeds go to create jobs in the community.)
I'd like to share with you these liberating words from page 45:
"The moment we are no longer tempted by the 'pots of meat' the empire offers, we should be concerned--for if we can't feel the temptation, we have probably given in to it. Christians are not people who are no longer tempted but people who have seen enough of God to be able to resist the kingdom of this world."
This is what encouraged me. Check out the book!
